Our Story
The roots of First Federated Church reach back to 1844, when revivalist Father Hervey Fittz came from Boston to hold preaching meetings in Feltonville. In 1851, the Feltonville Baptist Church was built, and the congregation grew so rapidly that a new building was dedicated in 1877.
Our Beliefs
We believe that there is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator, and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving, and truthful. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self-existent – one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Our Values
Our values flow from our love for Jesus and our desire to reflect His Kingdom on earth. They guide how we worship, how we serve, and how we walk together as a family of faith. These values remind us that everything we do is about pursuing God’s presence, growing as disciples, and sharing His love with our community and the world.
Our Mission
Our mission is to lead people into life-changing encounters with Jesus Christ, to nurture believers into spiritual maturity, and to release them to live Spirit-filled lives that transform our community and beyond. We exist to be a house of worship, revival, and discipleship, raising up sons and daughters who walk in the love, power, and presence of God.
Meet Our New Pastor
Pastor Ryan Samuel Hosein
We are filled with gratitude and holy expectancy as we announce that Pastor Ryan Samuel Hosein has accepted the call to serve as the Lead Pastor of First Federated Church. Pastor Ryan officially began his ministry with us in 2025, and we truly believe this is more than a pastoral transition—it is a divine appointment in the unfolding story of what God desires to do in Hudson, throughout New England, and beyond.
Pastor Ryan carries the heart of a shepherd, the spirit of a worshiper, and the vision of a builder. Through years of ministry, worship leadership, outreach, and community service, he has developed a deep passion to see lives transformed by the presence and power of Jesus Christ. His ministry is marked by healing, deliverance, miracles, discipleship, and a genuine desire to see people encounter the Holy Spirit in a real and life-changing way. He believes the Gospel is not only to be preached, but demonstrated through the love, power, and transforming presence of God.
With a strong commitment to the Word of God and the moving of the Spirit, Pastor Ryan believes the Church is called not only to know about Jesus, but to walk as He walked—to love boldly, serve faithfully, and demonstrate the reality of the Kingdom of God in everyday life. His heart is to see believers awakened to their identity in Christ and equipped to live naturally supernatural lives through intimacy with the Father and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
As the founder of “Anointed Songs Studio” and the visionary behind ministries and teachings such as the School of the Spirit and his ongoing work surrounding the miracles of Jesus, Pastor Ryan brings both creativity and prophetic vision to this new season. He carries a burden for revival in New England and believes God is calling the Church back to authentic worship, passionate prayer, biblical truth, and the tangible presence of God.
His desire for First Federated Church is that it would be a place where people from every generation can encounter Jesus deeply—a spiritual family marked by love, healing, freedom, discipleship, and the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit. A place where the broken are restored, the weary find hope, the lost encounter salvation, and believers are equipped and released into their God-given calling.
Pastor Ryan is especially passionate about building genuine relationships within the church and community. He longs to see First Federated Church become a lighthouse in Hudson—a house of prayer, worship, and transformation where people are not only welcomed, but truly known, loved, and discipled.
We believe Pastor Ryan’s arrival marks a new season of growth, spiritual renewal, and fresh vision for First Federated Church. As we enter this new chapter together, we invite you to pray with us and believe for a fresh outpouring of God’s Spirit upon our church, our town, and this region. We honor the rich history of this fellowship and remember the revival roots connected to Father Hervey Fittz and the founding of this church in 1851. We believe the same Spirit who moved powerfully in generations past is stirring once again, calling us forward into a new season of awakening, renewal, healing, and harvest.
