What to Expect at FFC

At First Federated Church, we believe church is more than a building - it’s a family. From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you’ll be greeted with warmth and love. Whether this is your very first time in a church or you’ve been following Jesus for decades, you’ll find a safe place to belong, worship, and grow.

We know stepping into a new church can feel overwhelming. That’s why we want to give you a clear picture of what to expect: a family-friendly atmosphere, Spirit-led worship, solid biblical teaching, and people who genuinely care about you.

Sunday Worship & Teaching

Kids, Youth & Family Atmosphere

Sunday Worship & Teaching

  • We gather every Sunday at 10:30 AM for worship and the Word. Services last about 1 hour to 1½ hours.

  • Our services are marked by a mix of joyful celebration and quiet reverence. You’ll encounter vibrant worship, prayerful moments, and a message grounded in God’s Word.

  • Worship is Spirit-led, Christ-centered, and revival-minded. Expect heartfelt songs, a sense of God’s presence, and freedom to worship authentically.

  • Teaching is Bible-rooted and Spirit-filled, making Scripture practical for everyday life. We want you to leave encouraged, challenged, and equipped to walk as Jesus walked.

Encounter Nights

Kids, Youth & Family Atmosphere

Sunday Worship & Teaching

  • Encounter Nights are gatherings designed to create space for God’s presence. You can expect extended Spirit-led worship, times of prayer, and moments where the Holy Spirit moves through prophecy, healing, or testimony.

  • Some evenings are peaceful and reflective, while others overflow with joy and intercession.

  • It’s a place to meet Jesus, be refreshed, and leave empowered to carry His presence into everyday life.

If you’re hungry for revival, Encounter Nights are for you!

  • Teens and young adults are encouraged to participate fully in worship and find opportunities to serve and connect.

  • You’ll see grandparents, parents, young couples, and kids all together, a true family of faith across generations.

Chapel in the Woods (Seasonal)

Chapel in the Woods (Seasonal)

Kids, Youth & Family Atmosphere

  • During the warmer months, we often worship outdoors in our Chapel in the Woods. It’s a unique opportunity to gather under the trees, surrounded by God’s creation. Imagine sunlight streaming through the branches, voices rising in worship, and the Word of God proclaimed in the open air.

  • It’s peaceful, refreshing, and reminds us that God’s sanctuary is everywhere. If you join us in spring, summer, or early fall, you may find yourself worshiping under the sky.

Parking & Accessibility

We want your first visit to be easy and comfortable.

  • Handicap Accessible Drop-Off: If you or a loved one needs accessible entry, you can pull right up to the front of the church for drop-off at our main doors. This makes it easy for those with mobility challenges.

  • General Parking: All other guests may park in our large parking lot beside the church. From there, enter through the side door and follow the stairs up to the main sanctuary. Volunteers will be glad to guide or assist you if needed. We do have an elevator for those who are unable to walk up the stairs from the side entrance.
